Shawn Khorrami

Founder of Khorrami Pollard & Abir LLP, Shawn Khorrami’s experience covers a broad range of issues, including pharmaceuticals, natural disasters, toxic torts, wage and hour and consumer class actions, product liability, civil rights, and catastrophic personal injury litigation. He has litigated many class and individual actions against some of the country’s largest corporations, and has held leadership positions in high profile pharmaceutical cases representing thousands of individuals.

He founded his firm as a solo practice in 1996, two months after being admitted to practice. Today, his plaintiff-only firm handles tens of thousands of individual cases and dozens of class actions throughout the country. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and on the Board of Directors of Consumer Attorneys of California. Shawn graduated with honors from Pepperdine, after earning undergraduate degrees in mathematics, economics and computers from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Dylan Pollard

Dylan Pollard has vast experience representing plaintiffs in both state and federal courts on a wide variety of matters. His primary areas of practice include pharmaceuticals, civil rights, labor and employment, natural disaster, class action and mass tort litigation. Dylan has played a central role in the litigation of a variety of cases, including catastrophic injury claims, complex multi-party product liability claims, claims against governmental entities (including civil rights and police misconduct cases), and premises liability cases alleging unsafe conditions on both public and private property.

Dylan is particularly experienced in representing large groups of individuals and has successfully represented numerous plaintiffs in several newly evolving fields. Dylan has significant involvement in the firm's employment cases, and has served as lead counsel on wage and hour class actions, wrongful termination, and breach of contract and employment discrimination matters. Dylan attended Stanford University obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, and continued his education at Pepperdine University School of Law, graduating cum laude. Dylan is admitted to practice law in California is an active member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and California, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

Danny Abir

Danny Abir focuses on pharmaceutical litigation, catastrophic personal injury, and wage and hour class actions. He has successfully represented many plaintiffs in individual, mass tort, and class action cases in both state and federal courts. Danny has published several legal articles, including the F.S.I.A: The Right to a Jury Trial in Suits Against Foreign Government Owned Corporations, published in the Stanford Journal of International Law, and, Suing A Foreign Government: A Note on Siderman v. The Republic of Argentina, published in Whittier Law Review.

He received his Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School and completed an LL.M. in International Law from Georgetown University Law Center, and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law. Prior to attending a graduate program, Danny attended the University of Southern California, completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance. Danny is admitted to practice law in California and is an active member of the American Association for Justice, the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles and California.

Launa Adolph

Launa Adolph's practice focuses on the representation of plaintiffs in class actions, including those involving wage and hour, product liability and consumer fraud litigation. She has extensive experience handling individual and class action cases covering thousands of plaintiffs nationwide. Her litigation experience encompasses preparing and arguing motions, including those for class certification, and preliminary and final approvals.

Launa obtained her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, where she graduated in the top twenty percent of her class, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is a member of Consumer Attorneys of California and Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles. She is admitted to practice in California and Illinois.

Bevin Allen

Bevin Allen handles consumer class actions with an emphasis in products liability and consumer fraud, as well as wage and hour class actions. She has been named class counsel in a range of class action lawsuits and has served as lead attorney for complex civil litigation cases. Her litigation experience includes court room appearances, drafting motion and discovery pleadings, settlement negotiations, and preparing and arguing contested motions before both federal and state courts.

Bevin received her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, where she served as editor of the International and Comparative Law Review. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from the University of Southern California, and is fluent in both written and spoken Spanish.

Bevin is a member of the State Bar of California, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Consumer Attorneys of California and American Association for Justice. She is admitted to practice before all District Courts and in California.

Matt Bailey

Matt Bailey plays a leading role in Khorrami Pollard & Abir's class action and mass tort complex litigation practice; with an emphasis on pharmaceuticals, product liability, medical negligence/malpractice and wage and hour litigation. He has successfully represented many plaintiffs in individual, mass tort, and class action cases in both state and federal courts.

Matt received his undergraduate degree in political science from The University of Washington, where he graduated with honors, and earned his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law. Matt is admitted to practice law in California and is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles and California.

Maryam Danishwar

Maryam Danishwar has been with KPA since her second year of law school, and earned the title of associate attorney after passing the California State Bar in November 2008. Her time is dedicated to the firm's pharmaceutical, personal injury and mass tort practice.

Maryam received her degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in political science and her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School. While in law school, Maryam was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity, International and Justice of the Ford Chapter. She is currently a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, Consumer Attorneys Association of California, American Association for Justice, and the American Bar Association. Maryam is also involved with the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Domestic Violence Project.

Bahar Dejban

Before joining KP&A in 2005, Bahar Dejban worked at the California Department of Justice and the Los Angeles Superior Court. Now, as an attorney at KP&A, she specializes in pharmaceuticals, products liability, labor and employment, mass tort litigation and class action lawsuits. She plays an active role in all of her cases and has served as liaison counsel in various state coordinated actions. Bahar’s ability to successfully represent plaintiffs in both state and federal court has made her a valuable asset.

Bahar received her degree in psychology and political science from the University of California, Los Angeles and earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and the Consumer Attorneys of California. Bahar is admitted to the State Bar of California.
 

Robert Drexler

Robert J. Drexler, Jr. has more than 25 years of litigation experience representing clients in wage and hour and consumer rights class actions and other complex litigation matters in state and federal courts. Robert is a highly regarded lecturer at class action and employment litigation seminars and has published articles in CAOC's Forum Magazine and the Daily Journal. He has been selected as a 2009 Southern California Super Lawyer.

Robert received his Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law where he served as Managing Editor of the Case Western Reserve Law Review and attended undergraduate school at Ohio State University where he graduated cum laude with a major in finance. Robert is admitted to practice law in California and Ohio. He is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles and California, American Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association and Inns of Court.
 

Abi Gnanadesigan

Abi Gnanadesigan is an associate at KPA specializing in class actions, with an emphasis on consumer fraud and wage and hour litigation. She worked as a law clerk at KPA before joining the firm as an associate.

Abi has previous experience as a law clerk for the HIV & AIDS Legal Services Alliance and as a volunteer at Bet Tzedek, which provides free legal assistance to those who otherwise couldn't afford it.

Abi received her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School where she was a member of the Women's Law Association and the South Asian Law Student's Association. She received her B.A. in political science from the University of Southern California. Abir is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, Consumer Attorneys of California, and American Association for Justice.
 

James Kenna

James Kenna's primary focus is dedicated to cases relating to pharmaceutical issues, product liability, toxic tort, personal injury and class action litigation. He has successfully represented plaintiffs in both state and federal courts and Los Angeles Magazine designated him as a “Rising Star” in the plaintiff’s bar for four consecutive years, and was named to Southern California’s Super Lawyers – Rising Star list in 2009. James has been appointed to the Executive Committee of Statewide Litigation, where he works with committees to produce common benefit work in national litigation.

James is a graduate of California State University, Los Angeles where he earned a degree in political science, and received his Juris Doctor from The University of California, Los Angeles. James is admitted to practice law in California is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles and California.

Galorah Keshavarz

Galorah Keshavarz has enjoyed success in consumer and employment class actions, civil rights litigation, and medical malpractice in both state and federal courts. Her tenacious work ethic brings a competitive spirit to KPA’s civil rights and mass tort departments, as she pushes her colleagues, and herself, to always achieve success. Galorah’s true passion lies in pursuing cases pertaining to civil and human rights.

Galorah graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a degree in political science with an emphasis in international relations. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco where she concentrated on International Law. During her time at Hastings she received multiple awards and certificates for her pro bono and public interest work, and served proudly as the membership editor for the Hastings Race and Poverty Law Journal.

Galorah is a member of the the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, Consumer Attorneys of California, American Association for Justice and is admitted to practice before all District Courts and in California.
 

Katie McSweeney

Katie McSweeney specializes in class actions, with an emphasis on labor and employment and consumer fraud. Katie’s previous experience includes working on both class action and medical malpractice cases.

Katie graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri-Columbia where she majored in journalism and minored in political science, and went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the Pepperdine University School of Law. While at Pepperdine, Katie was a member of Advocates for Public Interest Law, the International Law Society and the Women’s Law Society, and served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Lawrence Mira at the Malibu branch of the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Katie is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, Consumer Attorneys of California and American Association for Justice. She is admitted to practice before all California state courts as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
 

Neda Sargordan

Neda Sargordan specializes in pharmaceutical mass torts and products liability law suits. Prior to joining KPA, Neda served as an Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps Fellow at the Public Law Center (PLC) in Santa Ana, California. At PLC, Neda provided direct representation to immigrant victims of persecution, crime, domestic violence, and human trafficking.

Neda graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with degrees in political science and Middle Eastern-North African studies. She earned her Juris Doctor from Chapman University School of Law. While in law school, Neda held clerkships with the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Los Angeles Immigration Court.

She is a member of the Iranian-American Bar Association, Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, Consumer Attorneys of California and American Association for Justice. Neda is admitted to the State Bar of California.
 

Roxanna Tabatabaeepour

Roxanna Tabatabaeepour specializes in consumer fraud and labor and employment class actions. Her previous experience includes clerking with KPA, as well as the Orange County District Attorney's Office.

Roxanna graduated from the University of California, San Diego with degrees in political science, economics, and history. She earned her Juris Doctor from The American University, Washington College of Law. While in law school, Roxanna served as a Fellow for the Marshall Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project, teaching constitutional law to inner-city teenagers.

She is a member of the American Bar Association, Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, Consumer Attorneys of California, and American Association for Justice. She is admitted to the State Bar of California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
 

Crystal S. Yagoobian

Crystal Yagoobian's expertise includes class actions, with an emphasis on consumer fraud, product liability and wage and hour litigation. While in law school, Crystal served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Arthur L. Alarcon, Circuit Judge for the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Additionally, Crystal completed an honors clerkship with the Office of the California Attorney General and served as a law clerk with Public Counsel Law Center's Homelessness Prevention Law Project.

Crystal received her undergraduate degree from the University of California at Los Angeles, graduating cum laude. She earned her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law where she completed a course of study in Alternative Dispute Resolution and served as an editor of the Dispute Resolution Law Journal.

Crystal is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, Consumer Attorneys of California, and American Association for Justice. She is admitted to the State Bar of California.
 

Breanna Wilson

Breanna Wilson is a major asset and pivotal piece to the Khorrami Pollard & Abir LLP brand. She continues to maintain and manage great professional, and productive, client and partner relationships at all levels. As Senior Marketing Coordinator at KP&A, she prides herself in being assured of the highest quality of care and consideration.

Breanna obtained her B.S. in business administration, with a major in marketing, concentrating on international studies and foreign affairs, from West Virginia University, graduating summa cum laude.
